Dear friends, The fundamental cosmic themes of birth, life, and death—creation, support, and rebirth—are woven into the fabric of everything. These themes are in every cycle. Let’s journey together through the great cycles of Saturn and Neptune. Their dance in Aries has marked the very heartbeat of civilization.

I’ll focus on Saturn and Neptune’s conjunctions in Aries. I will not explore every aspect between them as they move through their cycle. I will examine the cycle of their conjunctions. I will use the history of human evolution as a guide.
The degree differences show the soul’s evolutionary stage.
Every time Saturn and Neptune meet in Aries, the cosmos calls us to rebirth. Saturn builds and defines; Neptune dissolves and dreams. In Aries, their union ignites the “I AM”— the eternal flame of identity and renewal.

Early Aries: the seed, gestation, the whisper of potential.

Mid‑Aries: the cry of birth, identity stepping into form.

Zero Aries: the great reset, civilizations dissolving and beginning anew.

Across history, these conjunctions have been thresholds:

We can safely examine the last two conjunctions in Aries. These relate to the three cosmic archetypes of birth, life, and death. From 2026 CE, we can look back to 4000 BCE, 4361 BCE, and 10,000 BCE. By studying these three periods, we will see their relationships to each other in sequence.

10,160 – 9730 – 9300 BCE/ 10,000 BCE: the primordial spark, matriarch thriving,consciousness awakening in
ritual and polarity.
4361 – 4000 – 3720 BCE/ 4,000 BCE: patriarchal structures start, the birth of cities, myth, and organized culture.
2026 CE: the reset, dissolving old individual
and social forms, birthing collective soul renewal.

Primordial initiation—identity awakening in early hominids, the cosmic spark of human consciousness. Identity began to awaken to consciousness on the physical earth. Later develops into awareness between archetypal polarities, i.e., light/dark, life/death, male/female, and the development of rituals around them. Leo, Cancer, and Gemini marked the Precession of the equinox from 10,000 – 4500 BCE. In 4361 BCE, during early to mid Aries, transitional gestation occurred. Dominant, patriarchal structures began to rise. 4500 – 4,000 BCE – 100 BC BCE (mid Aries): birth of Civilization—identity was incarnated into proto‑cities and mythic cosmologies. organized culture. Patriarchy starts its dominance. The Precession of the Equinox — Taurus – Aries – Pisces

2026  CE (0° Aries): Civilization reset—patriarchal crisis dissolving, collective soul rebirth
begins anew. The Precession of the Equinox — Pisces ——Aquarius 100 BC – 2,500 AD

The archetype of beginnings is found in both Aries and in the conjunction. This signifies the archetype of genesis and the beginning of identity. It embodies conscious thought, especially when experiencing the feeling of I AM. The collective soul lessons focus on identity resets. They question who we are. They also ask how we start anew and how authority and vision unite at the dawn of a new cycle. The conjunction in Aries initiates and carries the weight of civilization’s rebirths. The archetype of Saturn is to define and create boundaries. The archetype of Neptune is to dissolve boundaries. It unifies and dreams beyond them. When Saturn and Neptune meet in Aries, established structures dissolve into vision. New imaginations emerge. Inspired visions come to be established. During this long evolutionary development, consciousness gradually defined itself as individuality. It embraced materialistic perception (Saturn). Meanwhile, the Neptunian unconscious yet sublime clairvoyant connection with the spiritual world gave way. This led to humanity’s total (Neptune) immersion in material perception (Saturn). This allowed for the free development of individuality. It also facilitated the development of one’s own spiritual awareness as a free individual (Saturn/Neptune/Aries). The Neptunian inspirations were living mainly as instincts. Spiritual impulses guided humanity in a very dreamlike way. These influences are clear in the artwork of the time. The slow rise of Saturnian awareness of the physical world is clear. Its relation to it is also shown in the technologies developed. The epoch focused on the mystery and awe of birth, life, and survival. It also emphasized the magical (Neptunian) connections between creating images and their survival.

The “instinctual” and inspired insights were key to understanding which plants had medicinal properties, or knowing which ones to use. This wasn’t due to trial and error experiments, especially since the prefrontal cortex and abstract thinking hadn’t developed yet. This was the time when Shamanism began, which would last for at least half of the Pleistocene Epoch. The Pleistocene epoch spanned from 1,640,000 to about 10,000 years ago. The epoch saw significant temperature changes. These changes led to the ice ages. The mist-filled atmosphere of Atlantis transformed into precipitation. Glacial periods were followed by warmer interglacial periods. Several types of fossil humans, leading up to modern humans, emerged during this epoch. For nearly 1.6 million years, our ancestors lived in family groups, bound together by kinship and survival. In those long ages, the Aries spark of self-awareness had not yet been a personal experience. It was a natural part of being, woven into clan, hearth, and tribe. Identity was not “I alone,” but “us as I.” Life revolved around the sacred act of birth.
Women carried the divine process, and society honored them as the living vessels of continuity. Matriarchy was not a system— it was the way life itself unfolded. The Great Mother was the center, and all was done for her. Imagine it’s around 10,000 BCE. We’re just starting to bridge the gap between the Paleolithic (Old Stone Age) and the Neolithic (New Stone Age).
The Neolithic Revolution was a truly amazing time of change! It’s when the Ice Age ended and moved from the Pleistocene Epoch to the Holocene Epoch.

The Holocene epoch, which has lasted about 10,000 years, began after the last ice age and continues to this day.
It’s sometimes seen as just another interglacial period. Interestingly, this era also coincides with the sinking of Atlantis and the spread of its culture through migrations. This occurred during the Vernal Equinox in Leo. As the glaciers melted and the climate warmed, new fertile areas became available for people to settle. Rising sea levels altered the coastlines. This prompted migrations. It led to the mixing of different groups and the need to adapt to new surroundings. Early humans started preparing seeds around 23,000 years ago. Nevertheless, major changes didn’t happen until much later. About 10,000 years ago, we began settling down to farm. That was the time when we started taming plants like millet, wheat, barley, and rice. We also began domesticating animals like dogs, cats, goats, and cattle. These changes eventually led to permanent homes. These proto-villages started popping up in fertile lands like the Levant. The Levant is the historical geographical term denoting the Eastern Mediterranean coastal lands. The word derives from the Italian Levante, or rising, referring to the direction of the sunrise. It included modern-day Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Israel, Jordan, the Sinai Peninsula, and Turkey. The already-existing hunter-gatherer Natufian culture in this region began experimenting with sedentary life. They explored proto-agriculture. The people in the Yellow River valley and the Yangtze River basin did the same.

The tale of Abel and Cain seems to have originated from the differing lifestyles among people. Some were nomadic hunter-gatherers who relied on nature’s bounty and scattered seeds in open spaces. Others engaged in structured farming, animal domestication, and metalworking. As Saturnian territorial disputes became more prevalent, they were defended with the Mars/Aries approach.

The first structures at Göbekli Tepe (Turkey) were created by hunter-gatherers around 11,000 to 9,000 years ago. This suggests that people back then were more closely aligned with their divine inspirations (Neptune) than with technological advancements (Saturn). Yet, priests and priestesses acted as direct channels. They communicated with higher beings. They offered guidance on how the universe and their lives unfold for the better. Gobekli Tepe is 1,000 to 2,000 years older than Jericho, Damascus, and Varanasi. These are three of the oldest cities that are still functioning as cities today. It is also 1,500 years older than Catal Huyuk and 2,000 to 3,000 years older than Mohenjo daro. Locally, it is said to be as old as Varanasi, if not older.
5000 years older than Troy
6000 years older than Stonehenge
6500 years older than the Great Pyramids

We were on the edge of survival, stepping into a new era we call the Holocene, after the Ice Age. Inspired by Neptune, we built sacred sites like Göbekli Tepe. In Aries, the spark of I AM ignited. Collective consciousness turned toward its divine origin, declaring: We are here. We are alive. We are spirit incarnate. Saturn gave form to these visions—tools, shelters, & structures—while Neptune inspired the dream that guided them. Preserving our spiritual heritage was our top priority. At this time, the Vernal Equinox rose in the sign of Cancer. Back then, communities were pretty much egalitarian, with their spiritual lives focused on fertility and the natural cycles. Society followed matriarchal principles. These principles shaped rituals and myths. They highlighted a balance with nature and the goddesses and gods. This influence dates back about 1.6 million years ago. The Evolutionary state focused on the Neptunian weaving of our natural spiritual connection. It linked symbolic thinking with physical survival. The Neolithic evolutionary leap toward Saturnian structure brought permanent settlements, tools, and societies. Micro-lithic tools became common, along with bows and arrows, atlatls, canoes, and early pottery. Even back in the Paleolithic Age, there were disagreements, but they became more frequent as patriarchal systems took root. In 4,000 BCE, Saturn and Neptune crossed paths again in Aries, and that’s when humanity started to develop culture. Farming really took off, proto-cities popped up, and goddess-centered cosmologies became the norm. Neptune helped blend tribal boundaries with shared myths, while Saturn focused on creating lasting structures. As a result, hierarchies, armies, and centralized power started to replace the balance of matriarchal societies. Saturn’s drive turned into strict authority, and Neptune’s ideas were being absorbed into patriarchal myths. These myths guided humanity into organized society through Aries’ fiery energy. Around 4,000 BCE, humanity was transitioning from the late Neolithic into the early Bronze Age. During this time, some of the world’s most enduring structures were built. These sites reveal the ingenuity, the ritual life, and the social organization of early civilizations.

We don’t have precise ephemerides for 4361 BCE and 4000 BCE like we do for modern times. But, we can outline the degree differences in Evolutionary Astrological terms. Saturn–Neptune conjunctions occur roughly every 36 years. Yet, due to their slow orbital drift, they rarely align in Aries. The 4361 BCE conjunction would have been in the early mid degrees of Aries. This represented a spark of change, as identity started to shift from just getting by to the beginnings of civilization. The 4000 BCE conjunction was closer to the middle degrees of Aries. It symbolized a more consolidated civilizational birth—identity incarnating into organized culture, proto‑cities, and mythic cosmologies. During this time, we saw fascinating dualities. Light and darkness, Ahura Mazdao and Ahriman emerged. Marduk and Tiamat, and Osiris and Set highlighted the struggle between heaven and earth. As humanity began to change the Earth, agriculture took shape around 6500 BCE. Early on, around 10,000 BCE, people began working with soft metals like copper and gold. They hammered these metals into shape long before we figured out how to mix metals into alloys. They used bone and antler tools to dig for these ores, which they made into ornaments, tools, and ceremonial objects. As farming grew, who owned the land became a big deal. Men started to control property and how it was passed down through generations. When there was conflict, male warriors, as protectors, were made to be more important. This took power away from the women who were usually in charge of
children and religious traditions. Metallurgy and plowing the fields made it easier for men to work, which helped keep men in charge. This was the Neolithic leap into the Bronze Age. As metals were hammered into ornaments and tools, land ownership became contested, and warriors rose to prominence. Matriarchal traditions waned as patriarchal systems spread. Indo‑European pastoralists carried warfare and male‑dominated structures, reshaping older goddess‑centered cultures. In Neolithic Europe, many early farming groups in southeastern Europe embraced goddess-centered religions. Their societies were more equal or led by women. Artifacts point to society’s values. Figurines of female deities show a deep respect for fertility and home. Shared living spaces show reverence for the earth. Back in the late 4th millennium BCE, groups of Indo-European pastoralists from the Eurasian steppes began to move into Europe. The Indo-Aryans ventured
into the Indus Valley and southern India. These groups were more focused on warfare. They shifted older Neolithic cultures significantly. They brought patriarchal social systems. This shift marked the Rise of Civilization.

Around 4000 BCE, the Equinox began its precession in Taurus. During this period, the first urban civilizations started to take shape. These civilizations developed with patriarchal structures. Priest-kings rose to power, and social orders began to form around cosmic models of order. People began using the zodiac signs and calendars. Stone circles and dolmens were built. Pyramids and ziggurats were constructed, all while incorporating astronomical knowledge being studied. Cities and city planning were developing. Hieroglyphics and cuneiform writing were thriving. They showed imaginative and symbolic thinking. Arithmetic, linear and planar space measurements, and volume calculations were developed. Record keeping, legal codes, and laws were created to protect what was valued. Cults of the dead and ancestor worship emerged. These practices indicated a shift in consciousness. People were contemplating whether their true home was in the spiritual realm or the physical world. Humanity was learning to live fully in the physical realm while still carrying the Neptunian memory of spirit. The Saturn–Neptune conjunction in the mid-degrees of Aries highlighted significant changes. It revealed how the human I Am started living and working in the physical realm. This period blended Neptunian spiritual memories with teachings and laws. These were passed down by Priest kings, priests, and priestesses. They guided operations of city-states and cultural-states: Sumeria, Babylonia, Egypt, Hysos, and others. Saturnian realities were upheld by Aries/Martian will.

Interestingly, in the 5th century BCE, Saturn and Neptune aligned in Pisces while the Vernal Equinox stood in Aries. The gods themselves grew more human, mystery schools flourished, and thinkers like Socrates, Buddha, Confucius, and Pythagoras reshaped the world. Abstract thought, philosophy, and mathematics rose, marking the shift from mythic instinct to intellectual clarity. The Vernal Equinox moved from Aries to Pisces. This shift allowed Patriarchal rule to spread. Rome rose and fell during this period. Its impulse then passed to the Church. The Church claimed dominion over the sacred. Although its roots are older, the forms of patriarchy that we know today started during this epoch. Saturn and Neptune will conjoin again in 2026. This occurs while the Vernal Equinox is now in Pisces. We have reached a level of consciousness that lets us shape our personal lives freely. This ability to choose our paths is relatively new. Considering reincarnation, this freedom is new for many people. Even fewer individuals are working consciously. Neptune works unconsciously within all of us. We can discern between lives exhibiting the various levels of non-individuation, individuation, and spiritualization. Neptune inspires unconsciously. Saturn gives those inspirations form. What Saturn solidifies, Neptune then dissolves. Those within Herd-consciousness mainly comprehend and turn Neptune’s inspirations into what is perceived as socially acceptable. It is like when indigenous people in the Americas first saw European sailing ships. They saw only parts of their daily experience and mythological imaginations, like ships as birds or clouds. They even perceived Cortez as Quetzalcoatl.
The more people develop, the more understanding it takes to discern between those who advance in Herd consciousness. It is challenging to tell them apart from those at the early stages of individuation. They are at the top of their game and very confident about who they are and what they do. Hence, they seem to be individuated. It takes the same degree of discernment to recognize the difference between those further evolved. They are moving towards individuation. It also requires discernment between them and those at the early stages of leading a spiritually developed life. The difference shows mainly in what motivations a person has for conscious self-development. The unconscious inspirations one has are understood, interpreted, and manifested through the evolutionary mindset a person is working out of. We can now intentionally guide our lives to match the evolving progressive spiritual impulses, turning them into real-life experiences. The Neptunian inspirations can be taken hold of by our Ahamkara, or Saturnian I-making principle. This also means that the division between those who do and those who don’t is becoming more noticeable. This difference will become increasingly obvious over time. The difference lies in motivation: whether one seeks self‑development for power or for alignment with truth, beauty, and goodness.

Now, my friends, Saturn and Neptune meet again in Aries. The Vernal Equinox rests in Pisces, dissolving boundaries, while Aries ignites the flame of renewal. What existed 10,000 years ago in potentiality and gestation is manifesting now. It was made manifest 4,000 years ago. It is being rebirthed and reset now. The new Aries impulse to exercise our individual I’s to will a renewed beginning of ways of being—personally and socially. Humanity has reached a stage where individuals can freely shape their lives. This freedom is new, fragile, and unevenly distributed. Neptune whispers unconsciously in every soul, and Saturn gives those whispers form. What Saturn hardens, Neptune dissolves; what Neptune inspires, Saturn anchors. The roles of matriarchy and patriarchy have evolved through various stages. They were nourished and lovingly held. Then, they were inspired unconsciously. Eventually, they lost that connection and sank into material existence. Intellectuality and individuality developed. We can now live with more harmony between our heart and mind. They can align as one within our body, soul, and spirit among many. We now understand that spiritual development is about transforming oneself. It involves using the power of the ego to align with higher spiritual intentions. This development aims at doing the good, the beautiful, and the true for others in the world.
As Saturn and Neptune conjoin in Aries, we experience periods of gestation, birth, and manifestation. We also experience periods of reset and rebirth. This door opens once more. The cosmos asks us:
Will you step through? Will you shape your life in alignment with the eternal? Will you begin anew?

Michael
